What inspired you or led you to your current career? Like running my own business and the chance to make money based on my performance
What do you love most about what you do? I get to live out my life purpose of helping people get from where they are now to where they want to go. That’s what happens every time someone wants to buy a house or refinance
How long have you worked in this field? Almost 30 years
What do you love most about the area in which you live? I live one block from the city center of Alpharetta. I walk to meet people for coffee-lunch and dinner. Then I go back for entertainment. It is like being on vacation!
What is your favorite thing to do when you’re not working? Ride my motorcycle or hunt
Who is the most interesting person you’ve ever met? Hosea Williams. He had a PHD in chemical Engineering. He told me he was the guy MLK called when he wanted to get folks to march. Hosea would put on his overalls and go get folks motivated. He loved people and loved life. He put his life on the line a lot but never got the credit that some of the others got.
What is your favorite restaurant? Little Alley’s or Red Lobster- surf and turf for me
What is on your bucket list? Going to ride a bobsled in Salt Lake city with the US bobsled team. Doing a wide open run. Driving a formula 1 car. Riding my motorcycle to the artic circle
Where do you see yourself in 10 years? Right here. Hopefully I will be doing more speaking and coaching with others on how to grow their referral business.
Tell me something people don’t know about you. I was a college cheerleader. My wife was my partner. My son is now a cheerleader at UGA
